  • Communion at Home
    If you or someone you know is unable to attend Mass due to age or illness, and would like to receive communion at home, please leave the name and number of the person wanting communion for Deacon Ted with the parish office.

  • Grief Counseling
    Sylvia Harris is a professional grief counselor and have worked in the field for 20 years. As her spiritual offering to Holy Family Parish she would like to offer individual and family grief counseling as needed for short term support. If anyone would desire this kind of help in working through grief, she will provide her professional credentials.   • Healing After Abortion
    Do you suffer from feelings of guilt, grief, anger, or depression from a past abortion experience? Rachel's Vineyard may be for you. Completely confidential. Contact Valerie at (800) 822-4673.
  • Our Soldiers
    If you have a loved one in themilitary overseas, please put a photo with the name and any other information you want to include in the envelope provided on the board. We will put it up.
  • Ride to Mass
    If you need a ride to Mass or can help tranport parishioners to Mass who need a ride, please contact the parish office. For those offering transportation, please be aware that you must have a good driving record and that a background check will be done.
  • Soup Suppers for Lent - Begins February 19
    St. Martha's Sodality will be serving soup during the Fridays of Lent beginning February 19. Service begins at 6:30 p.m. in Tice Hall following the Stations of the Cross at 6:00 p.m. in the church.
  • Altar Server Training - SOON
    If you are interested in becoming an altar server, boy or girl, please contact the parish office and leave your name and phone number. You'll be contacted when a training date is established.
  • St. Martha's Fish Fry - March 19
    St. Martha's Sodality will have a "fish fry" on Saturday, March 19, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the school. On the menu is fish and chips, coleslaw, and corn on the cob. Tickets are $8 for 12 and older, $6 for 11 and under, $6 for seniors (55 and older), and 4-years olds and under are free. To purchase tickets, please contact Betty at (206) 763-0886.
  • Theology of the Body for Teens - Added 1/24/2010
    Beginning Tuesday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m., the parish will hold a 12-week program for teens based on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. The program leads teens through the teachings on the role our bodies play in getting us to heaven including: the meaning of and reasons for sex; how to treat the opposite sex with respect; why extra-martial relations are bad; and what does God expect from us.   • RCIA / RCIA - Updated 10/18/09
    RCIA and RCIC are programs for adults and children, respectively, who are interested in joining or learning more about the Catholic Church. Classes meet Thursday nights between 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Ailbe House. Students are still being accepted, so if you would like to enroll please e-mail re@hfseattle.org or call the parish office at (206) 767-6220.
  • Children Religious Ed - Updated 9/27/09
    Religious education classes for children between the ages of 3 - 6 are Friday mornings in the rectory's basement. Please call Kathy at (206) 367-2910 for questions or to register.
  • Bible Study - Updated 9/27/09
    On Sunday mornings, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings the parish holds Bible studies through Catholic Scripture Study. During the current session the group will study the Book of Romans.   • High School Youth Group
    The parish's High School Youth Group meets every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the school's gym. For more information, please e-mail yg@hfseattle.org.
